New 2nd Kit for AFL 2009

To celebrate our return to the AFL, Meirda FC will have a new 2nd kit for AFL 2009. Manufactured by Puma and sponsored by Decorhut, the design of the second kit will be familar to many as it is based on the famous black & white stripes worn by The Stallions - Sembawang Rangers in the S-League.

AFL 2009

We are taking part in the Amateur Football League (AFL) again after being away for 2008. The all navy blue kit will be retained as the 1st kit for AFL 2009.

New year, new league ?

Meirda FC had taken part in the Amateur Football League for 3 seasons and although we would have prefer the results to be better, overall we have enjoyed playing competitive football despite having had more downs than ups.

The team will be deciding whether to remain in the AFL or perhaps to apply to join another league next season once the current AFL season ends.
